Fudge - Ends (Hair Treatment)

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hi lovelies! Today I have a product from Fudge to show you called Ends* (RRP $18.95 for 50mL available at Hairhouse Warehouse). It is a miracle smoothing treatment for soft silky ends. It is full of powered proteins to repair and seal dry ends preventing hair breakage. I applied a small amount of product through the mid-lengths and the ends of my hair and let it air dry naturally. My ends are so damaged from all the blonde dye I put through it that I'm always on the hunt for a product that will make them look healthy! Obviously there is no quick fix but I really love this product. It is quite a thick balm-like product but rubs in easily once applied to the hair. I have been using it every time I wash my hair and have noticed how much healthier my hair looks. Not to mention my hair smells like candy...yum!!

What's your holy grail hair product? Let me know so I can go try it out! Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Artsy Wednesday - Designer Inspired (Proenza Schouler)

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hello everyone! Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is Designer inspired! I chose a gorgeous clutch by the brand Proenza Schouler (one of the brands I always enviously stalk, but could never even afford to own one single piece of). It is a gorgeous multicoloured degrade leather clutch with stunning neon pink studs and a fastening clip at the front. I instantly fell in love with the colours on this piece!

I painted all my nails with OPI - Alpine Snow and applied 1 coat of SV over the top. The colours I used for the gradient from cuticle to free edge were; Lime Crime - Crema Di Lemon , OPI - Suzi's Hungary Again, Essie - DJ Play That Song and ELES - Purple Royale. I then applied 1 coat of SV to smooth the gradient out. Then I dotted all over the nails with OPI - Mod About You and 1 final coat of SV. I seriously love this clutch and the nails I did! It's amazing how much cool inspiration you can find these days! I hope you like these nails! Here are some pictures!

Sanctuary Spa Facial Oil & Detox Mask

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hey guys!! Today I have two products by Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden to show you; the Lipid Recovery Facial Oil* and the Deep Cleanse 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask*. I am seriously loving this brand, it has got to be my new favourite skincare line now! They are available at Priceline and at the moment the entire range has 20% off the marked price!

Lipid Recovery Facial Oil* (RRP $34.99) is a concentrated 5-lipid complex to tone, nourish and rejuvenate skin. It claims to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles and makes skin noticeably brighter and more radiant in 4 weeks. This product contains 98% organic ingredients. Whenever I apply a facial oil to my skin I ensure I really massage it in for a good 5 minutes to help my skin's circulation and lymphatic flow kick start. I apply this all over my face (including eyebrows and eyelids) and all down my neck and decolletage. It is a wonderful product and I have been using it more than my rosehip oil (which is saying something since I have been using it for over 4 years now!). It has the most loveliest scent of lavender and bitter orange. I will definitely be repurchasing this product once i've finished it!

30 seconds after being rubbed in.
5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask* (RRP $19.99) is a warming charcoal treatment for perfectly clean and purified skin. I have been using this every second day and have noticed my skin looking quite balanced and has stopped some breakouts from arising. It is quite a thick mask and needs to be applied on damp skin but make sure your fingers are dry otherwise it's a bit hard to spread. I love the warming sensation but I really do not like the smell of this stuff! It smells like charcoal trying to be covered by a sweet almond scent.. It's not unbearable, but it's not very appealing especially when it goes so close to your nose! I do like this product, besides the smell, but I would not purchase again.

So what do you think of these products? Have you tried any Sanctuary products yet? I absolutely love them! Thanks for reading and have a lovely day!

Dr. LeWinns Essentials Skin Care Line!

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hello everyone! Today I have 4 products from Dr. LeWinns Essentials skincare line to show you. The 4 fusion cleansing oil*, foaming cleanser* (balancing), sensitive cleansing milk* (calming) and the gentle cream cleanser* (nourishing). (All products retail for $29.99 and are available at Priceline, Myer and selected pharmacies). With a drop in price from $34.95 to $29.95, an increase in size from 178mL to 200mL plus new modern packaging that has been re-designed with a travel-friendly lockable pump, these cleansers offer premium quality at affordable prices.

4 Fusion Cleansing Oil* - This is my favourite out of the 4 products here. It is a cleansing oil that melts away make-up and impurities, leaving skin super soft. It includes rosehip oil, tamanu oil, argan oil and baobab oil. It comes out as a clear liquid but when you massage it onto your skin it emulsifies and becomes quite foamy. This takes my make up off easier than anything i've tried so far! Not to mention it smells so nice!

Gentle Cream Cleanser* - this is a nutritional aloe-based cleanser enriched with apricot, sesame, avocado and sweet almond oil to condition and soften the skin whilst also removing any make up and impurities. This wasn't a stand out for me as i'm not generally a cleanser kinda girl. I like a good deep cleanse with an exfoliant but I tried not to be small-minded with this product and gave it a good trial. It smells a bit strange, like talcum powder and something else. . I can't quite put my finger on it!

Foaming Cleanser* - this was another of my favourites out of the 4 products! This foaming cleanser does as the name says and lifts away make up and impurities, leaving skin balanced, clarified and refreshed. It contains sweet almond protein, papaya and pea extract. It smells just like lemon myrtle, really refreshing and light. My face feels super clean and balanced after using this.

Sensitive Cleansing Milk* - this would have to be my second least favourite out of the 4 products, only because of the routine i'm in where I feel like I need something exfoliating my dead skin off every time I wash it! (Clearly that's not a good thing, it's just I feel super clean after an exfoliation). I actually do like this one due to it's calming properties. It contains sweet almond protein, aloe vera, orchid extracts and white tea which help to relieve any inflammation or redness. I get a little red after a shower but after using this i've noticed how calm my skin looks.. no redness whatsoever! This cleanser is free from parabens, sulphates and common irritants making it perfect for someone with sensitive skin to use!

Have you tried any of Dr. LeWinn's Essentials products yet? Let me know if you pick anything up in the mean time! Thanks for reading and see you all again soon.

Drip Nails!

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hello everyone! Today I have another nail art look inspired by the nail art guide book by anna ross (kester black) and it is the drip nails! (or in my case, they look a bit more like bubbles drifting upwards!). All colours used are by Kester Black (find all the reviews of the colours here). Here's a look at the design! The base colours from pinky to pointer are; Forget Me Not, Bubblegum, Peach Melba (2 coats each) The white on the drip/bubble sides was OPI - Alpine Snow.

Thanks for reading I hope you like this design! Does this look more like drips or bubbles to you? :) Let me know!

Artsy Wednesday - Two Colours

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hi everyone! Today's AW theme is 2 colours! I decided to use some of my new Kester Black polishes (i'm literally obsessed with her polishes) and did a design from her nail art guide book. The design is called 'Cascade'. It's pretty much like a gradient but in a really nifty dotted way. The two colours I used are Kester Black - Paradise Punch* and Forget Me Not* (check out my review of these polishes and others here). I used 2 coats of each colour and dotted on very small dots on the ring and thumb fingers. I finished it all off with 1 coat of SV.

Check out the other girls' AW creations! Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Half Marathon Nails + Photos!

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a while since my last post! I've been busy preparing myself for the Gold Coast half marathon and now that it's finished I can show you the nails I was sporting and a few before and after shots at the marathon!! I really love running and feel so great when I do it and this being my 2nd half marathon I improved immensely (by 11 minutes to be exact) and I can't wait to do it again next year and do even better!

The nails I chose to wear were inspired by pshiiit. I love this look so so sooo much and knew I wanted to replicate it! It's so awesome and abstract and really unique! I did this nail art a different (and longer way to pshiiit, which I didn't realise until later was going to take me longer.. woops!) I painted all my nails with OPI - Alpine Snow* and used 1 coat of SV to quickly dry it. Then I sponged on a gradient using all Essie polishes (Naughty Nautical, Where's My Chauffer and Bikini So Teeny), then 1 coat of SV. I then applied tape down in a triangle and filled in the space with OPI - Alpine Snow* then topped it with 1 coat off SV. For the thumbs and accent nails I used Orly - Liquid Vinyl* and a thin striper brush to outline the triangles.

Before the Marathon - at 5:30am - Pitch Black!
Me 20m from the finish line - WOO!!
After finishing the marathon! With our medals! YAY!
Thanks for reading everyone and I hope you enjoyed this post!! See you again soon.

Clairol Professional - Deep Moisture Intensive Mask

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hey guys today I have a review of the Clairol Professional - Deep Moisture Intensive Mask (RRP $13.99)* to share with you! This mask is ideal for hair that has been left battered by cold winds (or over-dyeing). Indulge dehydrated and stressed hair with a hydrating replenishment of moisture – this intensive mask delivers care to where it’s needed most, reviving hair with softness, health and vitality. It has a very subtle but sweet honey and mango scent to it and leaves my hair feeling really soft! One problem i've encountered with dying the ends of my hair blonde is how porous and pliable my hair is. If i slept on my hair funny where it was all crimpled, when I would wake up it would look so strange as if I curled my hair but really really badly with hair going in every direction. Since using this mask 2 times a week for the past 3 weeks i've noticed my hair doesn't even budge or take on a new shape during my sleep! I love this mask and would definitely repurchase. I love nothing more then relaxing in a hot shower with a deep nourishing mask in my hair!

Sorry it looks a bit empty, i've been using it religiously!
So tell me, what's your favourite hair mask or treatment? I would love to know! Thanks for reading.

Kester Black Nail Polish Review

Enter my international giveaway to win 1 of 4 nail polish bundle packs!

Hello everyone! I hope you've all switched over to bloglovin' or feedly to keep up to date with all the blogs you follow!? Today I have some polishes by Kester Black to show you and i'm really excited! Kester Black is the brain child of Anna Ross, a New Zealand designer. She creates one of a kind jewellery and has also created nail polish collections! She is seriously talented and makes such gorgeous looking jewellery and amazing coloured polishes! Check out the website here

Kester Black nail polishes (RRP $17) are all hand mixed so there is no wastage or colour 'chucked out'. All the packaging is also recycled and their bubble wrap is biodegradable, reusable and recyclable. Kester Black is 1 of 2 brands in Australia which have been CCF (choose cruelty free) accredited. It is also 5 free which means there's no carcinogens! Anna has also created a nail art guide book with Chelsea Bagan (trophywifenailart) with really awesome tutorials on how to do certain looks! You can view photos and buy the book here. The book also comes with a dotting tool (not shown).

Today I have 7* nail polishes to show you. 6 of these polishes are from the Sweet Shop collection and the remaining 1 is from the Winter Garden collection. The formula on these polishes are really good. They paint on easily and the consistency is perfect. All swatches are shown with 2 coats and no top coat. Here's a look at them all!

Bubblegum* - a really lovely minty pastel creme.

Buttercream* - an orange toned nude creme.

Forget Me Not* - A gorgeous bright periwinkle creme.

Paradise Punch* - A super bright neon red/orange creme which dries to a satin finish

Peach Melba* - A really lovely peach pastel creme - My favourite colour!

Periwinkle* - A very dark blue-black creme. Surprised this one is called periwinkle though!?

Milky Ways* over Periwinkle - A super dense clear suspended polish with tons of holographic glitters in it. It is SO SPARKLY!

Matte Top Coat* - Here is 1 coat applied over the above colour combination. It dulled the holoness but gave the look an awesome and edgy feel of matte white/silver glitters.

So what do you think of these colours? Make sure to check out the website! You will definitely find something you want!! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
